Police are investigating a nonfatal shooting early Saturday, July 10th, at the Spire Night Club in downtown Houston.
The bouncer at the Spire Night Club was shot in the arm early Saturday during an argument with a patron, police said.
The shooting occurred just after 1 a.m. at the club at 900 Jefferson Street in downtown Houston, said Commandant Matthew May of the Houston Police Department.
Investigators believe a man shot the bouncer after the bouncer prevented him from going through a door he was not supposed to use, May said.
The club was full at the time of the shooting and people were running outside when the shot was fired, May said.
The shooter escaped and was not arrested.
The bouncer was taken to hospital in stable condition.
