HUNTSVILLE- McNeese Cowgirl Football fought hard, but a late second half goal from Sam Houston made the difference as the Cowgirls lost 1-0 to the Bearkats.
The former Conference opponents fought in a high-sequence match with a lot of action despite the low score.
The pokes attacked early and led the shot category 8-3 in the first half with lots of high quality looks. It was consistently a defensive battle, because Emma Roccaforte and Co. could negate all chances of the Bearkats.
