Here are a few events and activities in the Lake Houston area during the months of July and August. This list is incomplete.

16.-25. July July: Enjoy a musical

Experience the premiere of “Tenderly, the Rosemary Clooney Musical”. Follow a woman’s rise to Hollywood star as an American music legend and her career fade as rock and roll grows in popularity. 8 p.m. (Fri-Sat), 3 p.m. (Sun). $ 30. July 29th: Watch a talent show

July 31st-August. 7th: Support young athletes

Take part in the 55th annual Amateur Athletics Union Junior Olympics and watch 8-18 year olds compete in a series of athletics events. $ 15 (day ticket), $ 45 (all events), free (up to 6 years). 1-6 August: Collect donations for the Houston Food Bank

August 10: Start of the school year
