Harmless bystanders have been shot twice outdoors of NW Houston Kroger, MPs say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man described as an innocent bystander was shot twice outside a Kroger location in northwest Houston.

Late on Friday evening, MPs from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a Kroger location at Block 9100 of West Sam Houston Parkway North.

When the MPs arrived, they learned that a grown man had been shot twice.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive, MPs said.

Preliminary information suggests the shooting was caused by some type of domestic violence. The investigators assume that the victim was an innocent bystander.

The man was shot dead near the main entrance of the store while it was still open, investigators said.

At the last inspection, the authorities did not arrest anyone in connection with the shooting.
