Houston Site visitors – Restricted METRO providers resume Thursday for essential journeys

HOUSTON (CW39) METRO will resume limited services only for critical journeys on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

Bus traffic will run on 15 METRO bus routes and on the three METRORail corridors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Buses run about every 30 minutes on the bus and train corridors. Customers must expect possible delays and diversions.

In addition, METROLift customers who have to take medically necessary journeys should contact the METROLift reservation center to arrange journeys.

The METRO customer service call center extends its opening hours on Thursday evenings to 7:00 p.m. in order to support customers and can be reached at 713-635-4000.

Park-and-ride routes, HOT / HOV lanes and the METRORide store will remain closed. Passengers are asked to monitor METRO’s Twitter and Facebook pages in order to receive up-to-date information on local public transport. You can access route information via the METRO service warning system.

In addition, customers are reminded to be careful as icy and dangerous conditions may exist at some METRO facilities and bus stops.
