National Farmers Market Week at the Urban Harvest Farmers Market
Saturday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
2752 Buffalo Speedway
In honor of National Farmers Market Week (August 1-7), Urban Harvest is holding special promotions at its Saturday market. Guests can enjoy live Chapter & Verse music, tote bag giveaways, kids’ activities like temporary vegetarian tattoos and a storybook giveaway, and the return of live cooking demos with guest chef Mayank Istwal from Musaafer. Urban Harvest also runs Farmers Market Tours at 9:30 a.m. (online registration).
White Linen Night on white oak
Saturday, 2 p.m.

Live music and DJs, food trucks, terrace parties, flowing drinks, fun giveaways and lots of white linen robes can be found at the annual White Linen Night in the Heights. One of the hottest action spots will be in White Oak bars including Christian’s Tailgate, Public House, BB’s Tex-Orleans, and Bobcat Teddy’s.
Saturday, 5pm to 10pm
100 western cavalcade
Space Cowboy tropical bar and lounge will host a White Linen Night Party at their home in the Heights House Hotel, rocking multiple vendors including OSO Coffee Co., Planet Churro, Space Cowboy Snowcones, Houston artist Mark Deleon and more. To add even more fun, the head chef from Space Cowboy, Lyle Bento, roasts a whole Kalua pig and the bar has delicious drink specialties.
Trill Burger Pop-Up at Sticky’s Chicken.
Trill Burgers, the hot new smashed burger concept from rap legend Bun B, Andy Nguyen (Afters Ice Cream, Dough and Arrow) and siblings Patsy and Benson Vivares (Sticky’s Chicken) is hosting its first pop-up at this Sunday Sticky’s. The pop-up menu will include an “OG Classic” burger and a Grilled Onion Smashburger with thin, crispy smashburgers available to first come first grind customers. Bun B, Andy Nguyen and partners will be on hand to serve and interact with customers. The first 50 guests will receive a Trill Burgers giveaway.
Houston Restaurant Weeks
All month until Labor Day
The Houston Restaurant Weeks are back, running until Labor Day while also supporting restaurants and raising funds for the Houston Food Bank (the citywide charity raised a whopping $ 16.6 million over the years). New to the lineup this year are exciting downtown venues like Fegen’s, Xin Chào and The Nash, alongside neighborhood favorites and HRW classics like Alice Blue, B&B Butchers, Davis St. at Hermann Park, Mastrantos, Rainbow Lodge and more.
