Buzzy smashburger concept Boo’s Burgers, the idea of the barista-by-day, burger-flipper-by-night Joseph Boudreux, takes a break from his usual The Tipping Point pop-up and goes to Cochinta & Co. and Kickin ‘ Kombucha place this Saturday evening. With crispy edges and topped with American cheese, LTO, pickles, and Boudreux’s addicting burger sauce, the burgers have historically been known to sell out through pre-orders (even top chef finalist Dawn Burrell is a fan). No pre-orders are taken this time, so you have the chance to show up on site and win a burger.

Sunday, 5pm to 11pm

3101 San Jacinto

Japanese restaurant Shun will host its first Tokyo Night Festival with OCA of Houston in the Social Beer Garden. The night features over 30 vendors, live entertainment, cars, cosplay, anime, and local chefs specializing in Japanese cuisine. Participation in the event is free.
