Jake Arrieta of Padres: Limits Houston to 4 baserunners

Arrieta went five innings in Friday’s 3-6 loss to the Astros, allowing three runs with three hits and one walk with three strikeouts. He did not take the decision into account.

Arrieta made his second start with his new team after returning from an injury. The veteran Righty only took 64 pitches to pass five frames and he was most likely pulled for having thrown only 11.1 big league innings last month. He’s slated to hit the hill against the Dodgers on Friday for his next start.
