Wellen Park has collaborated with Davis Development to develop Tropia at Wellen Park, a luxury rental apartment complex. The 13.6-acre complex will be located in Downtown Wellen, along U.S. 41 between Radiant Way and Springtide Way, in Venice.

Leasing is expected to begin in the summer of 2022 on more than 250 one-, two- and three-bedroom residences.

‘solar-powered town’

With homes starting in the $200,000s, Northridge will offer an array of floor plans that can be customized to provide layouts and finishes desired by today’s homeowners.

Pulte Homes has announced plans for Northridge at Babcock Ranch, which the developer is billing as America’s first solar-powered town.

The 116-acre community will include an expected 322 one- and two-story homes with options for both water and preserve views. Floor plans will offer square footage ranging from 1,400 to more than 4,600 square feet.

With an affordable price point from the $200,000s, Northridge will be well-suited for families and other homebuyers drawn by the community’s ideal Babcock Ranch location.

Situated off Greenway Boulevard, just north of the Edgewater and Edgewater Shores neighborhoods, Northridge will offer easy access to Babcock Ranch amenities such as The Lakehouse, home to a pool, clubhouse and playground; Jack Peeples Park, which features tennis, pickleball and bocce ball courts and a full basketball court; and Founder’s Square, a walkable downtown with shops, restaurants, outdoor recreation areas and a lakeside boardwalk and band shell.

Stock Custom Homes, a division of Stock Development, is expanding its presence in Lakewood Ranch and its premier village, the Lake Club, in southern Manatee County, just north of the Sarasota-Manatee county line.
