Man allegedly shoots and kills Brother in northeast Houston

A man reportedly shot his brother in northeast Houston Tuesday night, according to a tweet from the Houston police.

The incident took place at 5500 block on Cavalcade Street, where police found a man who was gunshot and in critical condition. He later died in a county hospital. The department identified the shooter in the tweet as the victim’s brother, who stayed at the scene and surrendered to officers.

HPD tweeted shortly later – at 6.15 p.m. – that the victim had died.
