Police stated a youngster was shot within the face whereas combating for a parking zone in southwest Houston

HOUSTON – Police are investigating after a teenager was shot in the face in southwest Houston Thursday night.

Officials said the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. at an apartment complex on 7800 W. Airport Blvd. The investigators assume that there was a dispute over a parking lot.

According to the officials, there was a kind of fight between the suspect and the victim in the parking lot of the residential complex. Police said the victim slapped the suspect in the face, and investigators believe the suspect ran into one of the apartments and grabbed a gun.

“The suspect came out and shot the victim in the face. He managed to run away and collapsed. It was then that the Cadillac we believe that was friends with the victim began shooting back at the suspect, ”said Lt. Pavel.

Police said the suspect and the people in the Cadillac had all run away. The officers said they know the suspect and are looking for him while trying to get him to turn himself in.


The victim, who the police say is a teenager, is being operated on and is in critical condition.
