Suspect arrested on fees of deadly crash on US 9300 Freeway 90 – Metropolis of Houston

Charges were brought against a suspect who was arrested in a fatal accident on the 9300 Crosby Freeway (US Highway 90) around 11:55 pm on Sunday, August 29th.

The suspect, Alexander Weaver (f / m, 27) is on trial in the 180th State District Court for manslaughter in narcotics and failure to provide assistance (FSRA). A booking photo from Weaver is attached to this press release.

The identity of the 41-year-old male victim must be verified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Sergeant D. Rose and Officer J. Roberson of the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division reported:

Weaver was driving a white Chevrolet Malibu at the above address when he ran into a motorcyclist pulling up on the shoulder of an elevated section of the Crosby Freeway. The victim was thrown from the motorway onto the lane below. Weaver fled the scene but was arrested nearby on the 800 block on Oates Roads and subsequently charged in the case.
