Concura Italian Bites opened near Highland Village at 4340 Westheimer Rd. Named after the Italian word for “careful”, owner Jessica Biondi has used Italian furniture and artwork throughout the intimate space. Chef Angelo Cuppone (Roma) is inspired by the Adriatic coast and at the same time serves traditional dishes such as Pappa al Pomodoro, Vitello Tonnato, Carbonara di Pesce and Polpo e Patate con Olive Taggiasche.

“Think of Concura as a place to hang out with friends. You will feel comfortable and at home in the inviting atmosphere, ”said Biondi in a statement. “Eat, drink and feel Italian – that is our motto.”

Concura is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. Reservations can be made through Resy.

Zoa Moroccan cuisine opens its second location in the Houston area in Bellaire on S. Rice Ave 6700 on September 1st. which translate into a fasting casual format of bowls and sandwiches. Guests can choose to create their own style of chipotle or choose a preset mix of ingredients.

Zoa uses all halal proteins, including beef, chicken, and lamb, paired with a variety of vegetables, including roasted root vegetables, confit onions, feta cheese, and cucumber and tomato salad, as well as sauces such as harissa, mint-avocado yogurt, or garlic -Aioli.

The restaurant is a hit with guests. It ranked 52nd on Yelp’s list of the 100 Best Texas Restaurants.

The gardener, the vegetable-focused fine-dining restaurant at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, will be adding a lunch service starting September 3rd. Developed by chef Alain Verzeroli, who holds a Michelin star at Le Jardinier in New York, the restaurant’s restaurant.The lunch menu includes dishes such as an avocado tartine with purple peas, Carolina golden rice risotto with roasted pumpkin and an upscale version with shrimp and grits.

“When you bring a new concept to a culinary city like Houston, you never know how it will be popular, but we are honored that our vision for Le Jardinier is becoming a reality,” Executive Chef Andrew Ayala said in a statement. “With the new lunch service, we are pleased to not only expand the number of reservations we can offer, but also the way our guests experience the restaurant.”

Lunch is served Wednesday through Saturday from 11.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations can be made through Resy.
