WATCH: Supervisor shot useless throughout a grocery theft in NW Houston, suspects on the run

HOUSTON (CW39) Constable Mark Herman’s office is soliciting public assistance in identifying two serious robbery suspects.

On April 11, 2021, District 4 MPs responded to the Sprouts grocery store at Kuykendahl Road 20707 regarding a major robbery. According to the investigators, upon arrival, the officers found that the branch manager had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Video surveillance caught two black male suspects entering the store wearing dark hoodies, shorts and face masks. They ordered a clerk to open the cash register and began stealing the cash. According to investigators, the manager tried to intervene, and then became one of the
Suspects shot him and then both suspects ran from the scene on foot.
